The Rose Dental Difference
Dr Rosa Najafi – Principal Dentist
Rose Dental principal dentist and owner Dr Rosa Najafi is the driving force behind our concept of dentistry with a heart.
Dr Rosa graduated in 2005 with honours and achieved a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She is actively involved in continuing professional development to ensure that her skills and knowledge stay at the forefront of clinical dentistry. She is proficient in all aspects of delivering dental care with a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr Rosa’s aim is to build a lasting relationship with every patient she treats. She prides herself on being thorough and ensuring that her patients are always comfortable. Her gentle and caring nature makes her particularly good with anxious patients and children.
“The most rewarding part of my career is when an anxious patient who has been neglecting their oral health due to dental fear, feel comfortable, happy and relax after their dental treatment with me.”
Outside of work, Rosa is a proud mother of a lovely toddler boy who keeps her busy. She is also passionate about oil colour painting and portraits and loves swimming and distance walking. She enjoys using her creative side to explore different aspects in her life and believes it’s never too late to interact, learn and enjoy new skills.
Rosa is also able to communicate with patients in Persian.

Lara – Dental Assistant
Hi, my name is Lara. You will often find me greeting you as soon as you step into Rose Dental, and then you might catch me in the surgery room assisting Dr Rosa with your treatments! My aim is that you leave our practice knowing you’ve found the right dental clinic to receive all your dental care needs.
I am a 24-year-old University student in my final year of a Bachelor of Human Sciences at Macquarie University. Being at Rose Dental has been an invaluable part of my academic journey, providing me with the opportunity to put all the knowledge I’ve gained into practice. It’s so nice knowing a patient feels comfortable and at ease because of the knowledge I’ve gained through studying and through our friendly and supportive team!
When I am not in the practice or studying, you will find me at the stadium with too much energy, supporting my favourite sports teams, especially the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs! I also enjoy spending time with my loved ones and watching our favourite shows together, it’s nice to wind down with those who are important.
I hope you enjoyed reading a little glimpse into my life and I hope I get to see you soon and know more about you!
Tali – Dental Assistant
Hi, my name is Tali, and I am a dental assistant and occasionally the receptionist at Rose Dental.
My job is to make you feel relaxed in the dental chair and help Dr Rosa prepare everything for your treatment. I’m there to make sure you feel informed and comfortable about your treatment.
Here’s a little bit about myself so you can get to know me!
I am a university student, studying commerce at the University of Sydney. I am doing a double major in finance and marketing! Well, I know it doesn’t seem related to the dental field, however, working here has taught me that dentistry is so much more than teeth and treatment – it is a long-term relationship with our patients that is built through interactions and investing time that is something I have learned at my time in university.
I have a cute dog called Maple – who loves her daily walks after work at the park. When I am not at work, you can find me swimming and relaxing at the beach, discovering new restaurants and places with my friends, or studying 🤓.
A fun fact about me is that I used to be a dancer, and even went to Disneyland LA in 2019 and 2023 to dance in their parade! I love to travel and see new countries. One of my life dreams is to travel around the whole world 🌎✈️
I hope you enjoyed getting to know me, and I look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon!
Sofia – Receptionist
Hi, my name is Sofia and I’m the friendly face you’ll see behind the reception desk when you come in and visit Rose Dental.
I am a University Student who is half Swedish and has two younger sisters and a little pet turtle named Groot – our family loves Guardians of the Galaxy!
After graduating High School, I started studying Exercise Science and Sports Rehabilitation for a year. Here, I came to love working with new people every day. Luckily for me, working here gives me the same opportunity!
I love seeing patients leave with confident smiles, and pride in their walk after seeing Dr Rosa. It is so special to work in a place where I can see how the impact of a friendly and accommodating dentist can have on others’ outlook towards oral health.
When I’m not greeting you with a smile at work, I’m out soaking up sunshine, or playing my favourite sport, Netball. Though, when that gets tiring, I love to read and write – And when I need a bit more fun, my best friend Tali and I are finding new and exciting places to go dancing 😊 Fun fact, Tali and I work here at Rose Dental together! We’ve known each other since we were 12 years old – Tali is the dental assistant to Dr Rosa!
I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little bit about me. I look forward to seeing you in our clinic soon!
