Dr Rosa Najafi – Principal Dentist
Rose Dental principal dentist and owner Dr Rosa Najafi is the driving force behind our concept of dentistry with a heart.
Dr Rosa graduated in 2005 with honours and achieved a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She is actively involved in continuing professional development to ensure that her skills and knowledge stay at the forefront of clinical dentistry. She is proficient in all aspects of delivering dental care with a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr Rosa’s aim is to build a lasting relationship with every patient she treats. She prides herself on being thorough and ensuring that her patients are always comfortable. Her gentle and caring nature makes her particularly good with anxious patients and children.
“The most rewarding part of my career is when an anxious patient who has been neglecting their oral health due to dental fear, feel comfortable, happy and relax after their dental treatment with me.”
Outside of work, Rosa is a proud mother of a lovely toddler boy who keeps her busy. She is also passionate about oil colour painting and portraits and loves swimming and distance walking. She enjoys using her creative side to explore different aspects in her life and believes it’s never too late to interact, learn and enjoy new skills.
Rosa is also able to communicate with patients in Persian.
Dr Arash Nikgoo (Alex)
Dr Nikgoo began practising dentistry in 2000. He has dedicated his career to helping patients who experience anxiety and stress at dental clinics.
As an accredited member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry, and an active editorial board member for an online dental journal (has published 5 articles in well known and prestiges journals).
Dr Nikgoo is a strong advocate for ongoing dental education and promotion of best practices in the industry. He currently holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery, Graduate Diploma of Dental Implantolgy (CSU)) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Mastership.
Rebecca Yousefi – Dental Assistant
Rebecca began her journey in the dental industry as a dental assistant for 3 years prior to joining the Rose Dental clinic in Five Dock.
Rebecca graduated from Dental Hospital in 2021 and has lived locally since then.
She strives to make every dental experience relaxed, and ensures patients always feel comfortable and cared for during their treatment.
Rebecca specifically enjoys the cosmetic side of dentistry, she says “I love seeing people leaving the clinic with a smile, satisfaction and confidence.”
She is a mum of two little girls, Diana, and Selena, and they are her world.
“I am so proud to see that my kids are so excited and willing to come to Rose Dental for their routine check-up and clean.”
As a mum, she really likes talking to patients about their children and having that close rapport. She is also very caring when we have a little child in the dental chair.
Out of the dental setting, Rebecca loves nothing more than spending time with her family. She also loves gardening in her small home garden and bush walking if she gets time.
Jennie – Receptionist
Jennie grew up in Sydney and she is one of our friendly receptionists here at Rose Dental. She loves greeting patients with a smile. Although this is her first year at Rose Dental, she brings many years of experience in medical administration to the job.
Jennifer is so excited to be part of a friendly and supportive team. She loves interacting with patients and her gentle personality relaxes any anxious patient. Her greatest reward comes from watching happy patients leave the clinic after their visit.
When not on our reception desk, she enjoys spending time with her cat Pepper, friends and family. She also loves to go to movies or exploring new cafes. Jennie is fluent in English and Korean.
